(Note: these are my first ever web photos: scanner, photoshop software, the whole 9 yards. They looked somewhat grainy to me and if they are it's my lack of experience: Mrs. Ross' pictures were great.)
The cast and crew...or as many as we could find.
Below, athletes prevail: from the left, Gordon Varnedoe (a Calie Club member and athlete from the days when John Ross was just starting), John Ross, '97 Master's champ, receiving the Chief's Trophy (a much coveted perpetual trophy which usually goes to a different Games activity each year) from 96-97 Caledonian Club Chief, Kristan Anderson and everyone's hero, Bill Anderson, OBE. Actually, the bird, Bubo is quite a star as well...more to follow.
Next we have Bill presenting John with a new award: The P/C James Jacob Trophy for Master's weight for height competition. This trophy was named in honor of the late Past Chief Jimmy Jacobs whom many athletes will remember for his many years of service on the Calie Club athletic committee.
Last we have the pro class getting their trophies: from the left, Jim Jardine (Who? Oh, that guy in the lower left who is writing these webpages!), Harry MacDonald, Bill Anderson, J D McGoldrick, Ryan Vierra and our fearless leader, P/C Malcolm Ramsay.
